Super Group Azorro [Oskar Dawicki, Igor Krenz, Wojtek Niedzielko, Lukasz Skapski]

The Super Group Azorro was created in 2001. The group includes four artists of different media, starting with painting, through photography, video and so called new media, and ending with performance. Azorro's main occupation is production of films that in a surprising and humorous manner expose stereotypes of "aftermodernity". These films often relate to art as an institutionalized system but in addition touch on such issues as value of art or finally a contemporary artist's condition. Azzorro Group's undertakings are thoroughly pierced with a specific sense of humour, which possibly is just the most suitable way to interpret the present time.
